FELL

A star fell from the heavens today
This day when there you lay
Cold, empty, catatonic shell.
The heavens wept from the loss,
Rain pouring down
From the blackest clouds I've ever seen.
And the sky seems dark now
With no one and nothing to fill
The void you've left behind.
The sound is the day without your voice
An aching, throbbing silence
Ever since
The day you fell and became this
Cold, catatonic shell from what you used to be.
The food has lost it's flavor,
The drink has lost it's effect
The drugs, they numb the pain,
But they don't bring you back.
What happened to the star that shone so bright
Providing all necessary light.
Now all is dark chaotic madness
This empty soul cries with sadness
All f*cked up since you fell from the sky.
A star fell from the heavens today
This day when there you lay
Cold, empty, catatonic shell.
I guess I'll greet you when I meet you
In heartwarming Hell.
